Bring your coziest blanket and join us for a candlelit, slow paced, nourishing and deeply relaxing practice.
The first half of the class is dedicated to Gentle Hatha postures and pranayama (breathing exercises) which will help bring peace to the mind and body.
The second part of the class is dedicated to a nurturing Restorative Yoga practice. Using props such as bolsters and blocks to support your body in long held, luxurious poses, this practice is designed to dial-down your daily stress by triggering the parasympathetic nervous system and activate the body's relaxation response.
As you settle and relax into the poses, heated rice bags are gently placed on the body to melt away tension and soothe tight muscles. The purpose of this class is to leave you feeling entirely relaxed in mind, body & spirit.
